Olubunmi Kusimo-Frazier, Esq.
Founding attorney. 21 years of advocacy across West Virginia.
Attorney Kusimo-Frazier began her career as an assistant prosecuting attorney in Kanawha and Jackson County, West Virginia, where she distinguished herself by winning nearly every case she took to trial. She then entered private practice with a Charleston law firm, representing clients in criminal defense matters in municipal, state, and federal court.
She later joined the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia as Deputy Counsel, where for four years she reviewed appeals, drafted memoranda, and presented her analyses to the Justices. She was ultimately promoted to Director of Magistrate Services, supervising the operations of the 55-county magistrate court system — the largest court system in the state — and advising magistrates, circuit judges, and the Supreme Court Justices.
In 2022 she returned to private practice as Of Counsel at a national firm headquartered in Charleston, focusing on product liability defense, criminal defense, and civil rights law. In 2023 she was named a fellow of the inaugural Johnson & Johnson Trial Pathways Fellowship.
